Pasalai Keerai sambar

Ingredients

For boiling:

1) 1/2 cup toor dhal
2) 1/2 cup moong dhal (unsplit one)
3) 1 green chilli finely chopped
4) 3 garlic teeth vertically slitted
5) 3 tb Oil
6) Salt
7) Pasalai Keerai washed and chopped

Sauted mixture

1) 1 tsp mustard seeds
2) 1 tsp fennel seeds
3) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
4) Coconut milk

Method:

1) Put the ingredients (1) - (6) into a pan and let the whole mixture be cooked.
2) Once cooked, add the keerai and let it cooked for abt 10 min
3) Switch off the stove and cool the mixture before you grind the mixture once in a blender
4) Sauted mustard, and fennel seeds in a pan and add to the grinded mixture above.
5) Add coconut milk and salt. Let the entire mixture be cooked for 7 to 10 min before switching off the stove.
