Home made Briyani rice -

Ingredients:

6- 7 tb ghee
8 cups basmati rice soaked in water for 30 mins
Raisins
Cashew nuts
Spice mix - (2 -3 cinnamon sticks each broken to 4 pieces and 3 staranise broken into halves)
Bay leaves
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Pandan leaf
1.5 tsp salt
Grinded nut mix - Almond and cashew
1.5 grinded tomato puree
1.5 cup yogurt
2 cups carnation milk
5 cups water

Method:

1) In a pan, add 6 -7 tb ghee and roast the cashew nuts and raisins. Keep it aside.
2) In the same pan, add the spice mix, and bay leaves and saute well until the cinnamon stick opens
    widely.
3) Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, pandan leaves and 1.5 tsp salt and saute well.
4) In the rice cooker, add the basmati rice, grinded nut mix, 1.5 grinded tomato puree, yogurt,
   carnation milk and water and mix the whole mixture well.
5) Once rice is cooked, add roasted raisins and cashew nuts and mix well.
